More than anything else these days, tweens want to use the Internet to connect and communicate with their friends. In support of this, Eliana.com has developed safe, user-friendly web tools that allow our users to communicate on-line with people they know.
Together with this, we try to educate our users about the Netiquette of safe surfing, and continuously encourage them not to give personal information online.

- A unique NetName - users are asked to choose a name to use while visiting Elliana.com. We remind users NOT to use their own names, or family names, and to refrain from inappropriate language.
- A password - users are asked to choose a password that does not contain their own name and to refrain from inappropriate language.
- Their age - We use this information to help keep track of what girls like best, to keep our activities age-appropriate and relevant to our users interests and needs.
- A parent or guardians e-mail address - In keeping with standard safety guidelines and COPPA, Eliana.com collects this address in order to notify parents of their child's registration.
The collected information received upon registration to Eliana.com does not allow us to identify specific individuals, but gives us an idea of what we can do to make the site a more interesting and fun place to visit.

In keeping with COPPA's exceptions, users will be asked in certain activities to provide e-mail addresses to be used ONE TIME ONLY in reply to a specific request. For example, some of the activities allow members to send their creations to friends.
